Share about your needs and goals during your free initial phone consultation. This call will also allow you to tell us about your medical history and learn more about the Young at Heart Balance and Fall Prevention program. When you’re ready to take the next step, schedule your initial assessment and get started with your Medical Fitness Specialist.
First Visit
All clients will receive an initial physical assessment for posture, flexibility, strength, balance, endurance, and environment to identify potential fall risks. Based on the results of the assessment and goals of the client, the Fitness Specialist will craft a personalized Balance and Fall Prevention program.
Ongoing visits
At the start of each visit, vital signs are taken and recorded in a personal log that is kept in the client’s home. Your Medical Fitness Specialist will guide you through your customized plan with exercises chosen to improve balance and increase confidence. Ongoing visits last 50 to 60 minutes.
Final Visit
During the last session, our medical fitness specialists take clients through a reevaluation to highlight their progress. You will also discuss your new goals and options for transitioning to home fitness or craft a plan for self-guided exercises in order to keep moving.
